Understanding Women’s Health Physiotherapy

Women’s health physiotherapy supports women through every stage of life — from pregnancy and postnatal recovery to menopause and beyond. Many women experience issues such as pelvic floor weakness, abdominal separation, bladder or bowel changes, or pelvic pain, yet often don’t realise effective, evidence-based treatment is available.

Our role is to help you understand your body, restore confidence, and support your wellbeing through expert assessment and tailored care in a private, professional setting.

How we can help

Your first session includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. With your comfort and privacy in mind, we’ll carry out a gentle, thorough assessment to identify the root cause of your concerns.

Treatment may include pelvic floor training, manual therapy, breathing techniques, postural and core retraining, and personalised exercise plans. We also provide guidance on safe return to sport, sexual function, and long-term pelvic health.
