Charlie Brahmbhatt is an experienced sports physiotherapist in London, specialising in sports injury physiotherapy, post-operative rehabilitation and helping athletes return to their best performance. His journey into physiotherapy began after an international amateur boxing career, where his own experience with injury inspired him to help others recover, regain confidence and perform at their best.

After graduating with a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in 2010, Charlie gained over 12 years of experience in private practice across the UK and Singapore. He also completed a Master’s in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at University College London (UCL), where his research explored the effects of concussion on balance in athletes.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Specialist Expertise

Charlie has worked extensively with athletes and sports teams across boxing, tennis, rugby and running. His clinical interests include sports injury rehabilitation, post-operative physiotherapy and recovery from upper and lower limb injuries. He takes an individualised approach to treatment, helping patients rebuild strength, restore mobility and progress towards their sporting and everyday activity goals.

With a strong focus on evidence-based practice, Charlie develops tailored rehabilitation programmes based on each patient’s needs, injury and recovery objectives. He works collaboratively with orthopaedic surgeons, other healthcare professionals and fitness trainers to support a coordinated approach to rehabilitation and a safe return to sport.

A Personalised Approach to Physiotherapy

Committed to continuous professional development, Charlie incorporates current research and evolving physiotherapy techniques into his clinical practice. His approach combines his academic background, practical experience and understanding of the physical demands of sport to support effective, goal-oriented recovery.

Outside the clinic, Charlie enjoys going to the gym and running outdoors. He also remains involved in boxing as a voluntary coach at his local amateur club, maintaining his connection with the sporting community.
