Combining his interest in the human anatomy and his love of playing volleyball, Stefano’s passion for Physiotherapy was ignited. He completed his BSc Hons in Physiotherapy at the University of Cagliari in 2013 and further achieved an MSc in Pain and Neuro-Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions in Milan.
Stefano started his career working within the Italian healthcare system, treating various orthopaedic and neurological conditions. In 2017, he relocated to London where he further developed his skills, working in a variety of musculoskeletal private practices.
One of Stefano’s particular interests is sports injuries, having sustained several himself throughout his years of playing volleyball. As such, Stefano has developed a deep understanding into the technical aspects of human body and the impacts caused by regular sports participation.
With a specialist interest in spinal manipulation, myofascial trigger points and the treatment of headaches, Stefano thrives on expanding his current vast skillset. In 2019, Stefano gained his accreditation as a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Although his background has its foundation in manual therapy, he firmly recognises the importance of exercise prescription and the emotional, psychological and social aspects of pain experience.
When not in clinic or doing any further study, Stefano still regularly plays volleyball, is a keen swimmer and likes to relax with a good book.
Stefano is based at our London City Clinic on Queen Victoria Street on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
