Sue graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1992 and is a Paediatric specialist. For the past 20 years she has been clinical lead in the children’s physiotherapy department at Poole hospital and her current position, as an Advanced Physiotherapy practitioner, is at London’s centre of excellence Great Ormond Street Hospital. In this clinic she works alongside Consultants providing expert advice & treatment in all aspects of Paediatric care.

Sue has a background in sports medicine and has been team Physiotherapist for Bournemouth and Bristol Rugby Clubs, England Schools Rugby and Scottish Exiles Rugby. She has also been in attendance at the European Youth Olympics.

For 10 years Sue has been chairperson for the South West Association of Chartered  Physiotherapists in Paediatrics.

In her spare time she is a Mum to three children and plays competitive hockey. She attends regular local and national training courses to keep up-to-date with effective clinical practice and is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) PH44894 and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

As required by law for anyone working with children she has an enhanced DBS enhanced disclosure check and is up to date with safe guarding in children and basic paediatric resuscitation.
