About Stefano Colaci

Stefano is a skilled physiotherapist with extensive experience in musculoskeletal and pain management rehabilitation. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Cagliari (2013) and a Master’s degree in Pain and Neuro-Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions from Milan. Stefano is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), the Health and Care Professions Council (MHCPC), and an accredited member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

His areas of expertise include the management of complex pain conditions, such as chronic spinal pain, joint pain, and headaches, as well as the treatment of myofascial trigger points and sports injuries. With a strong background in both manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation, Stefano focuses on restoring movement, reducing pain, and helping patients achieve long-term functional improvements.

Stefano began his career in the Italian healthcare system, treating a variety of orthopaedic and neurological conditions. In 2017, he moved to London, where he expanded his clinical experience by working in several private musculoskeletal practices. His passion for sports rehabilitation stems from his personal background as a volleyball player, giving him a deep understanding of sports-related injuries, biomechanics, and athletic performance.

A key part of Stefano’s approach is addressing pain from a holistic perspective—considering not only the physical, but also the emotional and psychological components of pain. He integrates spinal manipulation, myofascial release, acupuncture, and individualised exercise programs to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

Outside of his clinical practice, Stefano continues to pursue his love of sports and fitness. He regularly plays volleyball, enjoys swimming, and finds relaxation in reading. Stefano currently practices at London City Physiotherapy’s Queen Victoria Street clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
